Removing Barriers, Creating Equity, and Promoting Autonomy

Changing supported living for the better.

Who We Are

Amini Care Services was founded by Social Work England registered Transition Social Workers with extensive experience working with young people with complex needs and behaviours that may be deemed to be challenging. We supported former Looked After Children (LAC) and children with disabilities to transition to adult social care.
Our services are based on the social model of disability with the understanding that disability is a social construct. We recognise that barriers pose a challenge to individuals with special needs, we make it our mission to remove these barriers, create equality and offer our clients more independence, choice, and control over their lives. The model says that people are disabled by barriers in society, not their impairment or differences. These can be a physical barrier or people’s attitudes to difference.
